Special Notes

The Adaptaur cattle are early maturing animals. They are well suited to their local climates. They are high resistance to cattle ticks.

They are capable of producing substantial hybrid vigor when used for crossbreeding. The F1 progeny grow faster and are more fertile than Brahmans, and the Adaptaurs have similar resistance to ticks and worms as Brahmans.

This breed has the favorable carcass qualities of the Bos taurus cattle, and are at least 10 percent more efficient than the Brahman cattle.
