The Iranian Highflying Tumbler pigeon is a breed of domestic pigeon from Iran. It has come from three major cities of Iran: Kashan, Qom and Tehran.
It is bred mainly raised for performance and endurance flying competitions. It is also known as Persian Highflying Tumbler in Europe. And the breed is known as Tehrani in Iran.
These birds are endurance flyers gaining altitude quickly, and have reported to fly as long as 8-12 hours. Along the above three cities, the high flyer type pigeons can also be found in other parts of the country.

The Iranian Highflying Tumbler pigeon is very strong and hardy breed. It can fly very well, at very high altitude and at times out of sight.
The tumbling is nothing like a Birmingham Roller, individual flips, occasionally hovering before it does the flip. The best Iranian Highflying Tumbler pigeons tend to rise above the rest of the kit to show off their talents.
Flying characteristics of these birds is that of a soaring/hovering bird, with a slower wing beat than most flying pigeon breeds.
Their flying characteristics is as opposed to the ranking flying style of for instance the Tippler pigeon. They are very hardy birds and are endurance flyers, gaining altitude quickly.
